BRODIE HARKNESS JOINS OSHAWA ELITE PROGRAM AS PITCHING INSTRUCTOR!

"Brodie is a welcomed addition to the Oshawa Legionaires Elite baseball programs as Pitching Instructor," stated Oshawa Elite Director Jayson DesLauriers.  "Brodie will work with all of our pitchers at all elite levels with development, mechanics, grips, and metal preparation."  The highly successful left handed pitcher from Bowmanville, was a member of the Ontario Blue Jays before signing an Athletic Scholarship to attend Evansville University (NCAA Division 1) "Purple Aces" in Indiana.......Named 2 time Missouri Valley Conference Pitcher of the week as a freshman.....  Prior to his college days Brodie was named to the Perfect Game All-Tournament Team at the 2013 World Wood Bat Association Championships in Jupiter, Fla….He was selected to Canada's National Junior Team in 2013…Starting pitcher for Team Canada against Japan at the World Championships……Brodie then rounded out his collegiate career at Durham College where he holds several OCAA pitching records and was named the OCAA pitcher of the year in 2017-18 his graduating year.......... Grandfather, Tim Harkness, played professionally for the Los Angeles Dodgers (1961-62) and the New York Mets (1963-64). His Father Tim Harkness Jr. is a valuable part of the Durham College Varsity baseball program coaching staff. Welcome to the program Brodie!!!!
