Spring Training
The Oshawa Legioniares Elite programs travel to sunny south destinations for Spring Training each March. The 16U, 17U and 18U teams travel to Florida for their Spring Training experience trip while the 14U and 15U teams travel to Myrtle Beach, SC and the Ripken Experience Complex for their annual spring trip. These baseball development and experience trips are high on the list of priorities for the overall Oshawa Legionaires Elite program. The baseball development and life experiences gained on these amazing spring trips are invaluable and a big part of our year. In addition to daily training on the fields and in the cages, teams will play a number of scheduled games (6-8) against US competition while in Florida and South Carolina. Teams travel by Coach Bus with professional drivers and will stay together in dorms and or hotel assigned rooms with coach supervision in place. Our annual Spring Training trips always factor in some awesome experiences away from the diamond as well. They include: Attending MLB spring training games, attending college spring games, team trip to Universal Studios & Theme Park, Alligator sightseeing by Air boat, and of course time at the beach. These trips have become an annual tradition that players and coaches look forward to for months.
