Legionaires Elite Alum Nick King Named OCAA Pitcher of the Year!

Congratulations to Oshawa Legionaires Elite alum Nick King on being named Ontario Colleges Athletic Association OCAA Pitcher of the Year!  King, a right-handed pitcher, posted a 5-1 record on the season as he led the OCAA in wins. Across 32.2 innings pitched, he had 52 strikeouts for a per nine inning average of 11.14 and recorded an ERA of 1.50.

In a 9-0 win at Seneca, King tied the OCAA single game record for strikeouts thrown with 16. That was one of three times that he threw double-digit strikeouts on the season. King was also named as an OCAA first team all-star in 2023.
