OSHAWA 16U ELITE WIN CHAMPIONSHIP IN HERSHEY , PENNSYLVANIA TO CLOSE OUT FALL BALL SEASON!

Game Highlights Oshawa Legionaires Elite 16U were triumphant over Complete Game

Academy 16 5-3 on Sunday. A single by L Doughtry put Complete Game Academy 16U on the board in the top of the first. Oshawa Legionaires Elite 16U captured the lead, 3-1, in the bottom of the first after Brandon Prevost walked, Will Bain singled, and Antonio Lopresti grounded

out, each scoring one run. Oshawa Legionaires Elite 16U added one run in the third after Brandon Prevost singled. J Doubert homered to left field, scoring two runs in the top of the seventh for the Complete Game Academy 16U. Andrew Smith stepped on the mound first for Oshawa Legionaires Elite 16U. The righty gave up five hits and one run (zero earned) over four innings, striking out one and walking one. P Gilbert led things off on the bump for Complete Game Academy 16U. The starting pitcher allowed six hits and five runs (four earned) over five innings, striking out seven and walking three. Charlie Lo Presti appeared in relief for Oshawa Legionaires Elite 16U. 

Nolan Greco and Quintin Gillies each collected two hits for Oshawa Legionaires Elite 16U. Will Bain and Antonio Lopresti were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Oshawa Legionaires Elite 16U. Quintin Gillies stole three bases. Oshawa Legionaires Elite 16U stole six bases in the game. Oshawa Legionaires Elite 16U turned one double play in the game Number seven hitter, L Sexton, showed the depth of Complete Game Academy 16U's lineup, by leading them with two hits in three at bats. J Doubert led Complete Game Academy 16U with two runs batted in. They went 1-for-3 on the day. A great way to wrap up the 2023 Fall Ball season!!
