Oshawa Elite Alum Michael Quick named to NJCAA D1 All Region IX All-Star Team!

Oshawa Legionaires Elite alum catcher/DH, Michael Quick appeared in 54 games as a freshman hitting .362 with six home runs, 29 extra bases and 51 RBIs. He reached base 44.2 percent of his at bats and slugged .578.

Quick, who batted leadoff most of the season, was selected to the to the All-Region IX second all-star team. He was second on the team scoring 76 runs and ranked 22nd in the NJCAA in that category.

On the academic side, He was on the Dean’s list for both his first two semesters and over the summer was named to the NJCAA all-academic third team for student athletes attaining GPAs between 3.60 and 3.79.
